Each year, as the seasons change, we find ourselves adding texture and comfort to our homes with sumptuous cushions, throws, scent, and decoration. This season we’re experimenting with how to bring more texture to the dining table, with a few simple changes to impress your guests.

Dining doesn’t always have to be formal. Mixing washed linens and different fabrics with a more unique cutlery design can bring a sense of indulgence and comfort to the dining experience in a single update. Our Honeybourne cutlery collection does just this, and reflects the light beautifully thanks to its' planished finish.

When it comes to a gathering, our Radford cutlery collection is our most extensive and it is the perfect pairing to ensure your table is laid without a detail spared. With 65 pieces in total, we’re confident that it would complement any menu and can cater for any size get-together!

Whilst the cutlery is an important part of the dining table, Christmas traditions and nostalgia extend to the dining table, so including treasured family items that have always featured in celebrations of years gone by, or perhaps the inclusion of clementines and a handwritten name card on place settings bring a personal touch to the table and won’t fail to raise a smile from your guests. Not forgetting some fresh foliage to bring both scent and colour, a simple sprig of eucalyptus, your favourite herbs, and treasured items create a personal and stylish setting.

To bring further texture to the table, consider glassware with a difference. This season we’re using our Serica and Airtwist glasses to create two different looks, that both bring height and variance to the table.

And as the Autumnal weather means the nights draw in, dining becomes even more so about atmosphere and ambient lighting. Flickering, soft candlelight in varying heights of candlesticks and candleholders add detail and style whilst creating a beautiful glow around the room. Adding these smaller details to a table brings a great atmosphere and a subtle celebratory feel to your home.

So, create your memories, embrace nostalgia and celebrate your traditions with us this Christmas.
