Designed in consultation with professional chefs, this award winning Signature 30cm/12"" flexible slicing knife has a long thin blade which allows for good reach and accuracy when slicing delicate meat, poultry or fish.
The flexibility of the long knife blade makes it perfect for cutting thin slices of smoked salmon or cured meats, and ensures ease of handling around the bone.
An addtional use for the slicing knife is as a perfect cake or sponge splitter, creating fewer crumbs than when using a serrated knife, and the length of the blade makes it ideal for cutting slices of large cakes too.
The Japanese-style blade edge is at a 15° angle and the knife has an ergonomically shaped handle for comfort, balance and to minimise fatigue in use.

The 30cm/12"" flexible slicing knife has a fully forged German DIN 1.4116 stainless steel blade with a full tang for superior strength.
German stainless steel, hardened to Rockwell 56, is used in the manufacture of all Robert Welch kitchen knives.The hardened German steel allows for easy home maintenance and a superior sharpness that lasts.
The handle is made from tactile DuPont™ POM and features the RW insignia, a permanent steel detail.
Care & need to know
We recommend washing your cutlery/flatware in the dishwasher:
• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets*
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas).
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining - especially on knives).
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly.
*For UK customers we recommend Fairy Platinum Plus and for US customers Cascade Platinum Plus.
When washing your Cutlery/Flatware by hand:
Rinse cutlery/flatware to remove all traces of food as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush**. Try to avoid soaking your cutlery/flatware and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
**Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.
To restore your finish on your cutlery/flatware we recommend using a dry microfibre cloth.
