How to clean your pans

Dishwasher

Dishwasher safe

Dishwasher safe. For best results, use a hot cycle (65°–75°C and 150°-170°F) with quality all-in-one tablets such as Fairy Platinum Plus (Cascade Platinum Plus in the US) or Finish Quantum Powerball.

We recommend avoiding ‘eco mode,’ as its lower water temperature may not fully dissolve or activate the detergent, which can result in residue, leaving your cookware with stains or a dull finish.

Cleaning

Handwashing

Allow the pan to cool prior to cleaning.

Soak in warm, soapy water, then wash with a sponge or soft cloth. Gently use a nylon or stainless-steel scourer for more stubborn marks. Rinse with warm water and dry immediately.

To restore shine and remove blemishes, use a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend Powder and a microfibre cloth.

To remove any discolouration, wipe the pan with a soft cloth and diluted white vinegar, rinse, and dry. For cloudy white hard water spots, remove by boiling a 1:3 white vinegar to water solution. If the spots persist, try increasing the ratio of vinegar to water to 1:2.

AVOID oven cleaners, steel/wire wool, and harsh detergents containing bleach or peroxide.

Never place a hot pan in or under cold water, as it could cause warping.

Do not use your cookware for storing or marinating food.

Why Stainless-Steel Pans Turn Yellow and How to Restore the Original Colour

  1. Stainless-Steel cookware can discolour and turn yellow when it is overheated. Whilst the yellow colour may appear unsightly for some, it is purely cosmetic, harmless, and does not affect the performance of the cookware.
If your pan does yellow, the original colour can be restored with Bar Keepers Friend powder and a microfibre cloth, following these instructions.

    1. Wet the pan with water.
    2. Sprinkle the Barkeepers Friend powder onto the pan’s surface and form a paste by wiping with a microfibre cloth, taking no more than 60 seconds.
    3. Rinse thoroughly with clean running water.
    4. Repeat if necessary.

To prevent discolouration, we recommend using medium to medium-high heat.
