Care & Need to Know

We recommend washing your Drift Barware and Tea Collection in the dishwasher:

• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets*
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas).
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining - especially on knives).
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly.

*For UK customers we recommend Fairy Platinum Plus and for US customers Cascade Platinum Plus

When washing your Drift Barware and Tea Collection by hand:
Rinse your Drift barware, tea collection or glassware as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush**. Try to avoid soaking in water and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.

**Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.

For more information please see our Barware & Afternoon Tea Collection Product Care.

Designing the Robert Welch way

Designing the Robert Welch way

Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI was one of the most respected British designers of the 20th-century. He believed that everyone should be able to use beautifully designed products in everyday life. After training as a silversmith at the Royal College of Art in London, he specialised in design for stainless steel, establishing a company in his own name in 1955.

Today, the company works to ensure its rich legacy remains an inspiration to the design team, whilst continuing to innovate in terms of technique and technology.
