Honeybourne Bright Textured cutlery is a sumptuous yet versatile design, creating an impact which is suitable for the modern and traditional home alike.
The considered texture, inspired by the craft silversmithing technique of round hammer planishing is tactile and creates a light reflecting statement on the table - perfect for celebrations, but equally suitable for the everyday. With classically proportioned long tines, a wide-flared handle and a traditional heel.

Honeybourne Bright Textured spoons and forks are made from the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel.
Honeybourne Bright Textured knives are forged from specially hardened stainless steel for a fine cutting edge.

Care & Need to Know
We recommend washing your cutlery/flatware in the dishwasher:
• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets*
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas).
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining - especially on knives).
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly.
*For UK customers we recommend Fairy Platinum Plus and for US customers Cascade Platinum Plus.
When washing your Cutlery/Flatware by hand:
Rinse cutlery/flatware to remove all traces of food as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush**. Try to avoid soaking your cutlery/flatware and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
**Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.
To restore your finish on your cutlery/flatware we recommend using a dry microfibre cloth.

Design Story: Honeybourne
Robert Welch trained as a silversmith before moving across to industrial design. He considered that "products may be designed to embody warmth of feeling and tactility which transcend impersonalised methods of production" and that "the silver workshop can become the laboratory of design and research for industrial forms".
Honeybourne blends these two worlds. For the textured decoration on the handles Kit deBretton Gordon took inspiration from the round handled planishing technique used by silversmiths to bend, shape and smooth silver. The way the hammered finish fades makes it seem as if each piece were a work in progress.
