Design Notes
Set the table with Award-winning Arden cutlery, paired with the candlesticks which inspired the design. Both take their name from the ancient Forest of Arden, found in Warwickshire.
The Arden collection has a traditional shape, modernised with elegant lines and gradually tapering forms. Simple yet striking, both cutlery and candlesticks have delicate, graceful silhouettes and are a perfect partnership on the dining table.
The slender, waisted handle of the knife disguises a surprising weight and width of comfort in the hand and the candlesticks, with their mirror-polished finish and gentle, corresponding curves, deliver light, height and elegance to your tablescape.
Arden Cutlery achieved the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award for excellence in design in 2015.

Care & Need to Know
We recommend washing your cutlery/flatware in the dishwasher:
• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets*
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas).
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining - especially on knives).
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly.
*For UK customers we recommend Fairy Platinum Plus and for US customers Cascade Platinum Plus.
When washing your Cutlery/Flatware by hand:
Rinse cutlery/flatware to remove all traces of food as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush**. Try to avoid soaking your cutlery/flatware and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
**Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.
To restore your finish on your cutlery/flatware we recommend using a dry microfibre cloth.
For further information please see our Cutlery/Flatware Product Care page.
When washing your Stainless Steel Homeware by hand:
• Use a dry microfibre cloth, (dampened for more stubborn marks) and dried immediately after cleaning.
• To remove persistent marks, clean with a proprietary stainless steel cream cleaner (we recommend Bar Keepers Friend) using a microfibre cloth.
• Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.
• To restore your stainless steel finish, we recommend using a dry microfibre cloth.

Design Story: Arden
A collaboration from a design originated by Ian Redfern, Arden cutlery was inspired by the elongated and drawn-out line of the Arden candlesticks and the paradox of something weighty supported by very little. The slimmest part of the pieces look as if they would be too thin to function, but the strength of the steel allows the contradiction to be an illusion. This delicacy is balanced out by the wider bridge of the bolster on the knife, which makes the pattern perfectly suited to a fine dining experience or to elevate the everyday.
