Design Notes
The Wine Carafe is a beautiful example of English full lead crystal. Inspired by antique glassware, all Robert Welch glassware is hand blown. Crafting the Carafe involves the highest degree of skill on the part of the glassblower. Therefore each individual Carafe is unique and the finished pieces may differ slightly from one another.
This carafe can be used for infusing water, aerating wine or even as a small flower vase.
Please note that the glass may include some small natural imperfections, such as air bubbles, due to the traditional hand crafting process.
Please note: This product is delivered without a box.
Technical Information
The Glassware is hand blown in full lead crystal. Due to the traditional production methods used, minor imperfections may exist.

Designing the Robert Welch way
Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI was one of the most respected British designers of the 20th century. He believed that everyone should be able to use beautifully designed products in everyday life. After training as a silversmith at the Royal College of Art in London, he specialised in design for stainless steel, establishing a company in his own name in 1955.
Today, the company works to ensure its rich legacy remains an inspiration to the design team, whilst continuing to innovate in terms of technique and technology.
