SOUP MAKING WITH KATIE PYMENT

Local Chef, Katie Pyment, has eight years of professional experience in the kitchen. In that time she has honed her skill for making delicious soups.
Over the past four years Katie has expanded her culinary repertoire as a key member of Bennet and Friends, a bespoke catering company for events and weddings where she's had the privilege of creating memorable dining experiences for a variety of different events.
Katie kicked off our 2024 events by sharing her secrets and techniques with guests at the Robert Welch Studio Shop. As part of this demonstration, she made a soup over a few hours whilst talking about the process, showcasing knife skills, and giving guests the opportunity to try out our kitchen knives for themselves. She also discussed alternative ingredients and complimentary flavour combinations.
There was an opportunity to talk, shop, try out the soup, and take a recipe sheet away at the end of the session. Seasoned home cooks, foodie and design enthusiasts alike connected to warm the soul at our first event for 2024.
