Design Notes

The Robert Welch Signature utensil stand stores five or more utensils in a maximum footplate of 20cm, and can be easily moved around the kitchen to be on hand for food preparation.

The utensil stand provides agile storage; a hub that can be moved, bringing the tools to where you need them. To save space on the counter top the utensils hang around a central column. The stand provides sufficient space to comfortably hang five utensils, but can hold more. To ensure the stability of the stand a weight in the base provides a counter-balance whether one utensil is hanging from it or all five.

The utensils offer kitchen-to-dining functionality. The solid, cast stainless-steel pieces are elegant, timeless, mirror polished, and look elegant beside any of our cutlery ranges as serving pieces on the dining table.

This best-selling utensil set consists of: Ladle Large (1), Spaghetti Server (1), Slotted Server/Turner Large (1), Deep Bowl Serving Spoon (1), Deep Bowl Slotted Serving Spoon (1), Black ABS Utensil Stand (1)

Part of the Signature kitchen collection, which includes kitchen knives, scissors, utensils, kitchen accessories, kitchen storage and textiles. Each piece has been designed to bring order to your kitchen, with storage and display ideas that will blend the satisfaction of a tidy space with a welcome sense of calm.

Designing the Robert Welch way

Designing the Robert Welch way

Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI was one of the most respected British designers of the 20th century. He believed that everyone should be able to use beautifully designed products in everyday life. After training as a silversmith at the Royal College of Art in London, he specialised in design for stainless steel, establishing a company in his own name in 1955.

Today, the company works to ensure its rich legacy remains an inspiration to the design team, whilst continuing to innovate in terms of technique and technology.
