Palm Bright Cutlery

Palm Bright cutlery takes inspiration from the pattern of the leaves on the tropical tree. The inscribed flutes dividing up each handle enhance the classically proportioned profile of each piece. Palm Bright cutlery is made from the finest quality 18/10 stainless steel and is part of Collection 5.0®.

Design Story: Palm

Decorative patterns have not been common in the Robert Welch portfolio. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s Robert Welch designed several patterns for Japanese and American markets which were heavily ornate, some surprisingly so. The only one that we continue to produce is Ammonite which, whilst decorative, remains precise and functional. The inclusion of the spiral balances the pieces.

Palm holds the same distinction. The deep engraving of the flutes do not detract from use, but rather add to the weight and tactility of the handles and therefore make the experience of use that much more sensory and pleasurable.
