Design Notes

Vista Bright cutlery is based on geometric yet flowing forms. Each Vista knife is designed so that the blade stands vertically whilst the handle ends rest horizontally on a table surface to give a modern twist to the traditional place setting.

Read our guide on how to set a table for all occasions.

Vista Bright cutlery is part of the Master Cutlery Collection. The patterns in the Master Collection are design-led statement pieces requiring the highest levels of manufacturing expertise. All patterns in this collection are made from best quality stainless steel and are individually priced by pattern.

Technical Information

Vista Bright spoons and forks are made using the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel.

Care & Need to Know

We recommend washing your cutlery/flatware in the dishwasher:
• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets*
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas).
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining - especially on knives).
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly.
*For UK customers we recommend Fairy Platinum Plus and for US customers Cascade Platinum Plus.

When washing your Cutlery/Flatware by hand:
Rinse cutlery/flatware to remove all traces of food as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush**. Try to avoid soaking your cutlery/flatware and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.

**Always avoid scouring with pads or abrasive cleaners as this will scratch the surface.

To restore your finish on your cutlery/flatware we recommend using a dry microfibre cloth.

Designing the Robert Welch way

Designing the Robert Welch way

Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI was one of the most respected British designers of the 20th century. He believed that everyone should be able to use beautifully designed products in everyday life. After training as a silversmith at the Royal College of Art in London, he specialised in design for stainless steel, establishing a company in his own name in 1955.

Today, the company works to ensure its rich legacy remains an inspiration to the design team, whilst continuing to innovate in terms of technique and technology.
